THE TELEMATIC NET: A NEW PSYCHOLOGIC GROUP

Lic. Eduardo M. Romano - Buenos Aires - Argentina

This paper shows the possibility to consider the virtual groups organized in the telematic net in terms of new artificial psychologic groups. Following one of the lines of work that Freud left open in "Group Psychology and the Analysis of the Ego" (1921), I suggest the existence of an abstract idea of comprehensiveŹ and complex characteristics that would take the leader's place. Libidinal ties of inhibited target would provide the basis for the ties between members and between the members and the abstract idea (on-line communication, virtuality, interactivity and simulation) invested as Ego Ideal.

Dr. Libertad Berkowiez - Buenos Aires - Argentina

This paper intends to reflect upon some major questions in connection with migration and social insertion. The objective is to define the position of both the emigrant and the immigrant and to describe the various psicosocial situations these individuals have to face. Freudian theoretical concepts are articulated highlighting their universal scope. In order to attain these articulations there is an appeal to myths in general and to that of "Cain and Abel" in particular. Concepts such as symptom, language and taboos are revised.
