Dr. Liliana Abraham - Buenos Aires - Argentina
This paper describes the indications and counterindications
suggested by Freud when the psychoanalytic method is
to be implemented and emphasizes his concern about the
extent of his method to approach other pathologies.
There is a description of the modifications to the classic
technique to deal with severe pathologies, patients
with low economic and/or libidinal resources as well
as the subsequent doubts, fears and prejudices experienced
by many professionals followed by the difficulty to
apply these resources in their daily practice.

Dr. Virginia InŽs Romano - Buenos Aires - Argentina
This paper emerges from my clinical experience, which
confirms the theoretical material which for several
years I advocated and still continue doing so. The population
of patients is included within the area of eating disorders.
My clinical experience is based on dealing with this
kind of pathologies in a specialized private clinic,
at the hospital and on private practice. The clinical
features related to these pathologies are described
as well as the various possible approaches, emphasizing
the value of group technique.
