In a paradoxical way, "the Eventual Institution" I
suggest makes sense as its policy is fidelity to an
effect of truth located in time and space. The piece
of truth taken from what is real is an event, that is
to say, a random selection captured in a nomination
that is also randomly made. The space-time social bond
cutting of a produced truth is as finite as its meaning,
therefore it rejects the Truth as a whole. Its space
and time is not prescribed beforehand, rather its policy
is to be open to invention. Consequently, this invention
includes its own limitation, i.e., its extinction and
dissolution as institution.The psychoanalytic institution
is not the exception in this encounter with what is
fortuitous and hazardous about thought,Ê since thought
in general and psychoanalysis in particular share a
relation of reciprocal implication. Both produce their
own symptoms and the disappearance of their epoch-related
meanings. Hope is placed on the implementation of a
policy in which the disturbing symptom that presents
a hindrance at different times or the intrinsic void
where the encounter with an unknown truth can take place
are neither excluded nor denied. Ê
