In the present article I develop some questions and reflections related to law and psychoanalysis. The presentation is based on three axes. First of all, the focus is placed upon the truth and the search for the truth by the two disciplines. Secondly, the concepts of sense of guilt and illicit behaviour are discussed. And finally, I concentrate on aspects connected to expert appraisal from a psychoanalytic point of view.
